What Dotty's Foster Mom Says About Her

Dottie is an American Bulldog and seems to be a "hybrid" of the different types. We named her Dottie for the large dot on her back and the cute polka dots on her belly. She is a very young 65 lb female and as adorable as can be. The fur on her face is as soft as velvet and she has a heart of gold. She is super with my two small children and just adores anyone who will pet her. She is a true treasure.

Dottie loves sleeping in her crate; though, I never have any reason to close her in it. She is also housebroken, which surprised me a little, since she spent her prior life chained to a tree. She loves to play tug-o-war but never gets overzealous about it; she is quite gentle at all times despite her strength. She gets along with other dogs, but she may be slightly protective of her territory and loved ones if another dog is aggressive toward her by barking or growling.

Dottie makes me smile everyday and is very well behaved. She needs someone to take her home and treat her like the treasure she is.
